Here is my whole experience of using its text-to-video feature to generate videos: I chose the latest generation model: Vidu Q1. And then input a rather detailed text prompt: “A vibrant cyberpunk city at dusk, with neon lights reflecting off rain-soaked streets, flying cars zooming above, and a lone figure in a glowing trench coat walking through a bustling market.” This will help Vidu AI to generate a video that meets my expectations better.
Below are some customizable settings, such as generation style, video duration, resolution, movement amplitude, etc. You can see what I have chosen in the above image. All of these settings help me generate a video that matches my own purpose.
After all of these settings have been confirmed, I directly click on the blue Create button. The button will also display how many credits this video will cost to make.
Its processing time takes about 7 minutes, which is rather long for me, and check out the result here:
Its overall scene was indeed very stunning, showing exactly a cyberpunk city, with flying objects in the sky. But the figure in the video was just standing there, which does not match with my input text prompts “walking through”. So I would say this video was not that perfect.
In my second generation experience, I type in the text prompts: “A majestic dragon soaring over a misty mountain range at sunrise, its scales shimmering in golden light, as ancient ruins glow faintly below in a lush, emerald valley.” Other settings remained the same. And here is the final video:
I have noticed some improvements, because all of the elements and motion written in my text prompts are clearly shown in the video: flying dragon in golden light, ancient ruins, valley, etc.
From my own opinion, although its final video output quality may vary, Vidu AI is still a powerful and great option for my personal video project or sharing.
